It's that time.
It's now or never.
We, as a family, have decided to make the move to Italy as soon as I complete my Masters. This will be end of next year hopefully ;) 2016, so we will probably move early 2017.
Our plan is to move to Pizzone, Molise but if that fails we will find a beautiful little town or village to create our new life.
Although there are many things to consider, there is a time in your life that you just have to say #uck it! Let's go! And that time has definitely come for our family. We want to live our lives but are finding that we are constantly on hold because we don't want to live here permanently.

Wooohoo!

Now, back to work writing...

Above is our beautiful Wookiee. He was a healthy five and a half year old Maremma until a week and a half ago when he passed away from cancer.
It has been terrible for us to cope with this loss as Wookiee was our son. We loved him so much that we are having a hard time coming to terms that he has gone. He was so special to us with his all-loving personality.
We will love and miss him forever and are looking forward to taking his ashes to Italy with us where we know he would have been very happy.
Go well Wookiee - fly like the angel that you are :(
Yours forever,

Aden and Fiorella Rossinni

I really like your blog, and please accept my sincere condolences about your incredibly beautiful baby. I am SO sorry - I am a dog nut - to me they are really people in doggie bodies. I have 3 now, just lost my most special one - little Jack - on April 23. He was 1/2 toy Shih-Tzu and 1/2 Maltese, a rescue. My precious little boy, just an angel - in fact, he told my animal communicator that his angels brought him to me. Perhaps one day I'll write that story for you to publish - angels really did bring him to me. I will be very interested in following your progress. I have no interest in Australia though I know it is beautiful, and I have not 1 drop of Italian blood - all Scottish and Irish - but Italy is at the top of my "love" list. There are many Italians, mostly Sicilians (Sicily - another at the top of my list) of Hammond, Louisiana, and of course, 50 miles away in New Orleans. I will watch and see where you 2 land. I am almost 65 but much younger than my years and still hold out hope of getting out of the US, only thing holding me back is my son in FL. I would have withdrawal if I could not see him often. Well, thank you for your very interesting blog, and I will keep checking periodically to "keep tabs" on ya'll (sorry, I'm from the South - we say ya'll.) Take care, and again, I am so very sorry about Wookiee. He was/is an absolutely gorgeous baby, and I do know how much you miss him. What does his name mean? Do you know about the Rainbow Bridge? I also have 2 urns of ashes to carry around, along with tiny boxes of fur. I can tell you are my kind of people.

Hi Annie,
Thank you very much for your beautiful and encouraging words. 'Wookiee' is from Star Wars. A Wookiee is the race of the character Chewbacca. He was a big, hairy, yetti looking creature. Our Wookiee was a big dog with a big heart and the same kind of loyal personality as the movie character.
We know about the Rainbow Bridge - it's beautiful :) I would like to offer to send you a novel. Would you accept that from me? If you would like that I need a PO Box or some address to send it. You can email me at san.martino1@hotmail.com
Thank you again Annie, you have made my day. I will send an adventure novel because you sound adventurous :)
I'd love to look at the manuscript one day if you would like. Do you write anything else besides the story about little Jack?

Ciao Annie,

Regards,

Aden Rossinni

Me again. I was so focused on your beautiful baby that I forgot to say I absolutely agree with your comments about the houses for 1 Euro. They are for life and living, peace and beauty, repair of your soul, not speculation.

Hi, Aden and Fiorella, sorry to not have responded in so long. I've been trying to clean out my house still which just takes so much time and then I still don't see much progress. Lots of paper and paperwork always, and of course, doggie cleanup. Neverending.

I have not actually written a story about Jack, but I would be glad to give you the details of Jack's and my life together. He was a one-of-a-kind. I still miss him SO much, as I'm sure you do miss your baby very much. I have had some interesting things happen with pets, and I can write down all the details, but I'm afraid as far as a story goes, I never can fill in lots of details, so if I wrote anything, it would end up being a child's book, I'm sure! I also had a baby squirrel named Precious, another story. And when I have the time to write these out for you, I would have no problem if you wanted to do a book yourself. I'm sure it would be much better than I could ever do, and well, this is going to sound crazy, but I did promise Precious I would write his story. I have some of it written, from the point of view of our most special dog ever - Rocket. She thought Precious was her baby. Will send that to you soon. My last admission, if I have not already made it to you, is that I have a pet communicator. I just love Agnes and could not do without her. She is really great, lives in Cleveland, Ohio. Google her, she has a web site - her name is Agnes Thomas. I think her site is "pettruth" or "petstellthetruth." She has several books, too. Anyway, as soon as I can get all this to you, I will, I promise. As soon as I'm done dealing with Medicare - they make it so confusing, not sure which plan to choose, and mountains of info. Figures - it's the government.
